My Background
A passion for helping others led me down the path of medicine into a career that allows me to provide my patients with high quality healthcare. As a professional Physician, I bring a holistic approach to medicine in order to find comfortable and effective solutions for everyone.

I am an Oregon Board Certified Naturopathic Physician with a Master's in Clinical Nutrition. I received both degrees at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. I began my academic career studying philosophy at Colorado State University, my home state. Through the study of philosophy, I learned to think critically and problem solve using logic.

Navigating through life in my twenties I always felt drawn to service. I began in the service industry eventually owning my own small business using healthy food to fulfill my personal need to give. I practiced and taught yoga, deepening not only my need for practice but also my desire to help others.

Eventually, through the guidance of a trusted friend, I found naturopathic medicine. I'd always valued science-based conventional medicine but also appreciated our body's ability to heal and adapt with minimal, natural, and foundational support. Naturopathic medicine is based in the philosophy that the body is capable of healing itself. While I respect and use conventional medicine when indicated and appropriate, I hold dear to my heart the foundations of health which I define as nutrition, exercise, sleep, and a healthy dose of social interaction and mindfulness.

My passions include finding ways to optimize longevity for the individual, using noninvasive treatments to reach each of my patients health goals and, when possible, working to reverse metabolic and cardiovascular disease processes with diet and lifestyle modifications.
